What is the Search City Documents feature?
Search City Documents is a convenient resource that allows users to view and print City documents.
What records are available online?
Search City Documents allows you to view and print agendas, minutes, ordinances, resolutions, staff reports, change orders and recorded documents.
Where can I view other public records?
Many other city documents are available on the City of Rocklin website in the "FileBank Search" section. These documents include publications such as the Rocklin General Plan, maps, permits, etc.
Some types of public records - such as police reports - are released to "involved parties" only. Other types of public records require the completion of a Public Information Request Form.

What types of recorded documents are searchable on this website?
Recorded documents are for Rocklin-related projects only. See the County Recorder's Office for personal/individual property information such as birth certificates, etc.

What is the best monitor setting to view documents, and how do I do this?
We recommend changing your monitor setting to 1024x768 for the optimal view of documents on the website. To change your screen resolution, right mouse-click anywhere on the desktop, then:

Select "Properties"
- Select the "Settings" tab
- In the screen area section, set to 1024x768
- Click "Apply"
- Click "OK" to accept
- Click "Yes" to confirm

Staff Reports

If you know the subject of the Staff Report click on the "Documents" tab at the top of the website, use "Keyword Search", check the box for "Staff Reports" and enter your search words.

If you know the date of the meeting, click on the "Documents" tab at the top of the website, use "Search by Document Type. Choose "Staff Reports" from the drop-down list and then choose the meeting date from the calendar.
Minutes of a Meeting
- Click on the "Documents" tab at the top of the website. If you know the date of the meeting, use "Search by Document Type," choose "Minutes" from the drop-down menu, and choose the date from the calendar.

Click on the "Documents" tab at the top of the website. If you know the subject of the meeting, use "Keyword Search," enter search words and mark the checkbox for the "Minutes" that you want.
Agenda Packets
- The most current agenda packets will automatically show up when you click the "Agenda Packets" tab at the top of the website.
- To search for a specific agenda packet, click on the "Agenda Packets" tab at the top of the website. You can choose the "Meeting Type" from the drop-down menu, type in a keyword, or choose a meeting date to find the agenda packet you are looking for.
Resolution or Ordinance
- If you know the number of the Resolution or Ordinance, use "Search by Document Type," choose Resolutions or Ordinances from the drop-down menu, and enter the Resolution or Ordinance number in the Number field below.
- If you know the date of the Resolution or Ordinance, use "Search by Document Type," choose Resolutions or Ordinances from the drop-down menu and choose the date from the calendar.
- If you know the subject of the Resolution or Ordinance, use "Keyword Search," enter the search words and mark the checkbox for the Ordinances or Resolutions that you want.
